Reliable, competent and transparent

Precious metals are too valuable to remain unused.

The EMH Group is a service provider for industry and trade. You can find us and our own refining establishment in Werden, which is a small and tranquil suburban area in the middle of the Ruhrgebiet. On the following pages you will get to know everything about recycling processes and analysis methods. Also we will explain the function of precious metal accounts as well as our delivery- and remuneration models.

EMH Service in Essen/Germany

Our service is primarily aimed at companies utilizing and processing precious metals, at jewelry manufacturers, jewelers and goldsmiths, but also at companies in the dental sector and purchasers of precious metals.

Recycling – Sustainability instead of overexploitation

For many years we have recognized a massively increasing demand for precious metals, which has several reasons: on the one hand there are the economic crises like the financial crisis a few years ago, on the other hand there are so-called emerging countries, which also have a high demand for precious metals. This need can hardly be compensated for by already dwindling primary deposits. Today, one increasingly uses formerly uneconomic deposits – often in third world countries. This results in evident and severe consequences for the people and environment on-site. The consequences of the exploitation are devastating.

Certified Recycling

There is a simple solution to this problem, which is called Recycling!

Urban Mining

Of course, the recycling of precious metals (is also referred to as urban mining) does not solve the problem. However, it significantly reduces holding new production, no matter if it is in open-pit or underground mining, and the environmental damage it goes along with. At the same time, the processing and recycling of precious metals does not encourage social or political conflicts in today's mining areas.

The Certified refining establishment of EMH Service uses exclusively secondary material from the purchase of old- and tooth-gold and reintroduces the recovered precious metals back into the production cycle.

Modern safety and process technologies ensure environmentally friendly processing: from recycling material to finished end products in the form of ingots and granules as raw material for the processing industry, jewelry production and investment metals.

In general case a compensation of 80% can be made within three hours of delivery on the basis of a first laboratory analysis. The rest will be charged after final processing.

Precious metal recycling

Main focus: platinum and palladium

The recycling of metals in the platinum group represent the highest technical requirements, especially when the raw material is problem waste or of a minimum quantity.
As a customer of the EMH Group, you benefit from or specially developed process technologies. This is the only way you can be certain that the recovery of platinum and palladium will be successful even with low-mix alloys.

Our analytical method is always transparent - our delivery and compensation models are extremely flexible. We would like to convince you of that and look forward to you getting in contact with us.
