Two recycling processes are important in the recovery of your precious metals:

The chemical process

In the wet chemical process, foreign metals and other alloying additives are separated. Subsequently, the precious metals contained can be deposited in powder form. After re-melting and granulating, the respective precious metal is present in pure form as granulate or as a homogeneous ingot and can then be further processed in the industry.

Our refinery in Essen Werden is processing not only gold and silver but also platinum-group metals in technical separation processes. Thanks to modern analysis technology, it is also profitable to make a separation of small quantities and problematic waste.

Thermal process

With the help of thermal processes, alloyed precious metals are melted down in order to achieve a homogeneous consistency, which is suitable for subsequent analysis.

The examination of purity is carried out with XRF-analysis (a special frequently used X-ray analysis) and AES-emission spectrometry (a highly complicated method for determining the quality and quantity of a sample) in the in-house analysis laboratory. Taken samples are of course paid for, or returned.

Compensation

In general case a compensation of 80% can be made within three hours of delivery on the basis of a first laboratory analysis. The rest will be charged after final processing.

With modern analysis and processing techniques, we are the right contact for commercial gold traders, jewelers, the processing industry as well as for dentists and dental laboratories.

Environmentally friendly refurbishment

In the two recycling processes mentioned above, the EMH Service Group focuses on environmentally friendly refurbishment of the precious metals, by using the latest processing- and security technologies. The end result of a chemical and thermal treatment are homogeneous ingots, granules or fine metal grains, which serve as raw material for industry and jewelry production and can also be used as investment metals As a result, there is the advantage that recycled precious metals are already suitable for further processing and therefore significantly reduce the environmentally harmful new production. This is what helps our company to protect the ressources.
